With an early interest in teaching & education methods, I was involved in coaching & mentoring since my early years of training of medical students, interns & younger surgical trainees which I carried on effortlessly & with enthusiasm excavating for fresh means of education. I have been & currently, I am a faculty member of the Arab Board & Saudi Board Surgical Training Program in every hospital that I worked for since my return from the UK in our region. As well I worked on preparing candidates for the FRCS & MRCS examinations. With the advent of the science of Health Quality & Patient safety over the last 15 years, I was involved in spreading the culture of patient safety Culture by educating my colleagues in the clinical areas not limited to the surgical field. With a good background in health informatics technology. I was chosen among few of my colleagues from other Departments as Key Superusers & Physician Support Group in launching Electronic Health Information System in 3 of the hospitals that I worked for & currently I lead the Team of Key superusers at my current hospital in Al Madinah as well as a key member in the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs Best Care Enhancement Committee to facilitate swift transformation & introduction of new services into Paperless Electronic System among different National Guard hospitals in different regions. My fields of interest include researches in leadership skills in education & Quality & Patient Safety, Volunteering with the Physicians Advisory Group providing national & international clinical advice as well as directions to clinical pathways to countries in Africa. Volunteering Mentoring Group to trainees in regions who cannot afford expensive tuition fees.
